Does My Nasy have a warranty?
Nasy’s Warranty
Limited Lifetime Warranty “MODS”
Here at Modz By Nasy LLC we sell only things we can stand behind! This being said sometimes things can happen. In this event we offer you our Limited Lifetime Warranty on all our mods, something you will never get with the cheap China made mods. Our warranty covers any manufacture defects in your mod for the life of the mod. Examples of this would be Switch failure, Mosfet failure, Battery tray failure, or 510 failure. These examples are just that, If for some reason the mod was damaged from user error there will be a repair fee for this. In most cases a “USER ERROR” repair fee would be $25.00 but with some mods like the DNAsy 200 the repair fee would be $50.00. These are starting points and at our discretion to change.
Building Supplies Warranty
Everything we sell is something that we would use ourselves and stand behind. Everything under the Mod Building Supplies tab on our site falls under this warranty. We would love to warranty each and everything on our site, but it is a bit hard to do so with the use of these building supplies. We do offer you a 30 day exchange for D.O.A. “dead on arrival” items. All items must be returned unused and no solder. If the item is used or soldered no exchange will be able to be made. Battery trays/sleds will be inspected before being shipped and we take pride that none of our trays are shipped miss printed or warped! If for some reason you were to get a tray/sled in this condition it will be replaced with no questions ask! Due to 3D printing there may be some defects in some tray and not others but will not affect the tray/sleds operation.
We thank you for picking us as your modder or build supplier. Any questions on anything above can be sent to admin@modzbynasy.com.
What is a PWM?
Pulse-Width Modulation is the process of rapidly switching a circuit between 0v and battery voltage. Rapidly switching the voltage on and off creates a square wave, which leads to a more stable output voltage. A few examples are: Murata, Raptor, Evolv and YiHi. For a more in-depth explanation of Pulse-Width Modulation click here.
What is the benefit of using PWM?
The benefit of using PWM is the ability to regulate the time that the circuit is on vs off or vice-versa. A good comparison of this is an LED light with adjustable brightness. When fully dimmed, the onboard PWM would be pulsing slowly, but as you turn the brightness up the pulsing gets faster which results in voltage being applied for longer amounts of time. In other words, it’s a way of adjusting “voltage” with a potentiometer instead of a more complicated system like a DNA or SX board. It should be understood that any time the button is pushed, the full voltage of the battery is present across the coils, the switching happens many times per second.
Why does my mod whine or buzz?
Electronic switching is noisy in all applications, especially when unfiltered. The frequency in which most boards run is within the audible range for most humans.
Why won’t my voltmeter read correctly?
Mainly this is due to the oscillation of the voltage; voltmeters generally want a flat input voltage and not one that is oscillating many times per second.
What is Smart PWM?
Please see the Smart PWM manual for information about our Smart PWM.
What is the max Watts for a Nasy?
Lets start this with each box is different than the other. Triple Nasy, Dual Nasy, 18650, 26650, Series/PWM, or Parallel? All of these boxes will differ.
We Like to tell people to build to their batteries. BUT! A lot of people think that there is a 90 amp 18650 battery on the market, I’m here to say that is wrong! 18650 batteries are mainly 20 amp batteries with labels on them showing a AMP ratings that is over the limit. There are some batteries out there that will handle 30 amps in the 18650 family but not many. And 26650 batteries are no different in this!
So, please know your batteries!
We rate our mods to be able to handle 30 amps for our 18650 and 26650 mods. Anything over this is at your own risk and Modz By Nasy LLC is not responsible for your actions! Using Ohms Law or a Vape Calculator you can then find what your mod will put out in wattage according to the build “Ohm of your coils/Atty”. This is Build safety, knowing these things is something all users should look into and understand. Knowing your build and knowing what your mod/batteries can handle are very important! We can not stress this enough, know Ohm Safety, Battery Safety, and Mod Safety! Please if you have any questions on what you should or should not run on your Nasy please e-mail us admin@modzbynasy.com!
What does an unsafe battery wrap look like?

What does an unsafe battery wrap look like? Let’s take a look!
Batteries wraps aren’t just for printing brand, voltage and amperage information on, they also keep you safe. The positive post of the battery, which is the small pin at the top, is what makes contact with the center pin of the atomizer. The negative of the battery isn’t just a pin, it’s actually the entire outer casing of the battery and it makes contact with the threaded section of the atomizer.
Here’s an image that /u/GobbleThisObelisk posted on Reddit that explains why a battery that has a damaged wrap is unsafe:
Real-Life examples of unsafe batteries:
Each of these batteries could potentially make contact with items in your pocket such as keys and change, this is why re-wrapping batteries and keeping them in battery containers such as the ones pictured below is crucial. Wraps and cases can be bought from many places but we recommend IMRBatteries and Illumn.
Where can I see photos of the powder coats offered?
Please go to the powder coat page to see up close pic of the colors and a description of them!
What kind of images can be etched?
When looking for an image remember “Black/White” the black in the image is what will etch. When searching for images using the term “line art” or “black and white” will help you find the right image.
Colored photos or photos with shading or 3D effects will not etch correctly and would need to be done as a full color print. It will still come out black and white, but it needs to be full color printed instead of laser etched. You can select full color print at the time of order and will be charged accordingly. Do not select etching on these photos, you run the risk of a canceled order.
EXAMPLES OF PHOTOS THAT WILL WORK:
EXAMPLES THAT WILL NOT WORK:
Also image size can be an issue. You will need to find images that are clear, 100+ DPI, and the size needs to be at least the same dimensions you want the end result to be. Stretching an image to make it larger will reduce the quality of the etching.
My magnet has fallen out of my mod.
That’s okay, this is normal for a magnet that is taking the force of the door closing on it all the time. The weather changing outside may also cause this to happen.. MOST of all dropping your mod may cause a magnet to pop loose.. BUT… We got you.. If you e-mail us we have no issue replacing a lost magnet for our customers! Please note: If you’re able to locate your dislodged magnet, it is reusable. Here is what to do once you have your magnets!!!
1: Go get some Locktite Pro Super Glue in the blue bottle, available at any Lowe’s or Home Depot.
2: Use rubbing alcohol and clean out the holes for the magnet really well a few times- even if you’re one that likes to bathe your mod in juice!
3: hold the unsecured magnet to the one that is still in the box to make sure you put it in the right way!
4: take that glue you got and a business card of choice. Drop a dab of glue on the card.
5: Use a flat magnetically attractive object and stick it to the side of the magnet that was attracted to the corresponding magnet still installed in the device. Dip the side now facing away in the glue.
6: Put the magnet into the empty and cleaned hole in the mod, hold it there a second. then slide the metal object you’re using off and make sure there is not any glue oozing out.. “DON’T OVER DO THE GLUE! a little goes a long way!”
7: let it set for about 1-3 hours to dry thoroughly!
8: VAPE THAT!
Hope this helps everyone!
Please anytime you need help with your mod contact me. I do reply to all emails and I will email you back ASAP!
Thank You.
